The first official images of the Mitsubishi Lancer Prototype-S have been poured into the Internet before the car its debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month. More than one version of pre-production of a concept, a prototype S-Launch previews the shape of the next Lancer Sportback (5door hatch), which should be introduced into the European market this summer.
In particular, the prototype S-previews the Lancer Sportback Ralliart which compoete on the head with the Subaru Impreza WRX. Like the sedan Lancer Ralliart that we saw in the Detroit Show, the prototype-S is equipped with a detuned version of the EVO X 2.0-litre turbo-reactor (delivering 240 PS and 343 Nm of torque) in combination with a double clutch SST Gearbox and a full-time 4WD drive with Mitsubishi Motors' Active Center Differential.
If something else, the Prototype-S 'specs mechanical sound very promising. Too bad we can not say the same about the concept looks…
