Volvo C30 Spotted With Jersey Manufacturer Plates

Volvo C30

Eagle-eyed tipster and Jalopnik reader Peter snagged us these shots of the new Volvo C30 stateside wearing a set of New Jersey manny plates. The hatchback, which we first saw unveiled at the 2006 Paris Auto Show for sale in Europe, was recently green-lighted for the US beginning in October as a 2008 model. We're assuming this here C30 is probably being used as a media fleet car by some embargo-signing journalist. Maybe that particular invite got lost in the mail.

Test drove one today. Maybe I am a little up tight about rear window visability, but the c30 is one of the worst cars that I have driven in this respect. Its not too good with the seats down, but with the seats up those head rests make it terrible. i would have to buy the option that warns you about blind spots.
