At next month's Frankfurt Motor Show, hometown brand Opel will be showing off a full slate of more efficient models and we now finally have some details. GM Europe will show off their first hybrid model in the form of the Corsa Hybrid concept. The B-Class Corsa will get an updated version of the belt-alternator-starter mild hybrid setup currently available on the Saturn Aura and Vue in the US.
In the Corsa the BAS system will be paired up with a 1.3L 75hp turbo-diesel and a lithium ion battery, both firsts for GM's mild hybrid. The Corsa Hybrid will be rated at 62.7 mph (US) and 99 g/km of CO2 although any production plans are unknown at this point.
